Since 2005, the year it was founded at the University Campus of Savona by Matteo Giudici, Alessandro Gaudino and Lorenzo Basso, traceability, confidentiality and equal opportunities have not been merely principles, but daily practices. The goal has remained unchanged: to support companies with innovative technological solutions and methodologies, looking ahead to digital transformation with vision.
Over time, MESA has built an ecosystem in which expertise, responsibility and collaboration fuel sustainable growth. Today MESA is an international group that works with over 250 clients, Italian and global centers of excellence in various sectors.
Innovating to grow, growing through innovation
MESA’s history spans two decades of technological revolutions and shifts in business paradigms. From the very beginning, the synergy with companies has fostered steady growth: from the first software for financial management, to Governance, Risk & Compliance methodologies, through to the pioneering vision of 2018 with the platform dedicated to ESG processes and sustainability. A choice that anticipated global trends, recognizing the central role of environmental and social impact in business strategy.
The journey was further strengthened by the acquisition of OVERNET, an IT training center and organizer of WPC, the largest Italian conference on Microsoft technologies, which in 2024 exceeded 1,000 registrants and 400 participating companies.
In recent years the group has embraced generative artificial intelligence, integrating it natively into its own solutions and opening up to the Legal sector as well. From the cloud to AI, every challenge faced has been turned into a springboard for growth.
International recognition
A journey that has led MESA to be awarded the Microsoft Digital Transformation Champ Award – Cloud for Sustainability, to take part in the Microsoft Envision AI Connection, and to be selected by Verdantix among the best global providers of sustainability technologies, the only Italian group in the ranking.
Today the new MESA platform represents the natural evolution of this journey: an extended ecosystem that integrates Finance, ESG, Risk & Compliance and covers the entire cycle of financial, ESG and integrated reporting, combining strategy, sustainability and compliance in a single intelligent solution, supported by training and consulting with certified partners.
